Hi, I’m Sachi. My name means truth, and around here that’s the whole editorial policy.
WhereSachi started in 2017 with one question: where do you actually eat in Dubai? Not where the billboards point. The places that are genuinely good and worth every dirham.
Nine years in, the rule hasn’t changed. Every spot on this site is somewhere I’ve eaten. Every price is one I actually paid. Price checked, worth it. If a place slips, it quietly leaves the list.
Have a wander
Eat Dubai is the food. Momos to Michelin, most of it under AED 100.
Go Travel is everywhere else. Istanbul, Mumbai, Bangkok, and wherever the next flight goes.
Do Dubai is the city beyond the plate. Souks, museums, and the corners most itineraries miss.
By day I work in communications. The rest of the time I’m out eating for research, or building a guide to doing this city properly. Budget smart, experience rich. The one I wish someone had handed me when I first landed.
