16 Best Vegan Bakeries in Dubai

plant-based. zero compromise.
vegan bakeries in Dubai

The best vegan bakeries in Dubai now cover a lot. Custom celebration cakes, Dutch stroopwafels, and almost none of it tastes like compromise. These are the 16 I actually order from, grouped by what kind of place they are.

Everything here is plant-based. But fully vegan kitchens and cafes with a vegan counter are different things. Worth knowing which you are walking into. Prices move, so I have left them off rather than guess.

Fully vegan: the best vegan bakeries in Dubai

Most of the best vegan bakeries in Dubai sit in this tier. No cross-contamination worry here. Also no scanning a menu for the two things you can eat.

Just Vegan

Entirely plant-based. The chocolate lava cake is the order, and it is properly gooey rather than the sad set-custard most places pass off. Cupcakes and cookies alongside it.

Veganlife Bakery

The vegan chocolate cake is the star. Rich, and truly moist. Cookies, cupcakes and tarts for everything else.

So Free Organic Bakery

So, organic ingredients throughout. Blueberry muffins and almond flour cookies keep me going back.

VEGO Cafe & Confectionery

Vegan macarons and cheesecakes. Also the presentation beats most of this list. A cosy room to actually sit in, too.

Ninna Homemade Bakery

Although homey rather than showy. Banana bread and coconut cookies, made with organic ingredients and tasting like someone actually baked them.

Sinless Bakery

Chocolate cakes and lemon tarts, all without refined sugar or artificial ingredients. However, the name is a bit much. The baking is not.

Angel Cakes

So this is the one to call for custom vegan cakes. Birthdays, weddings, the lot. Cupcakes and cookies if you need something smaller.

Cafes with a proper vegan counter

This is my living list of the best vegan bakeries in Dubai, and this tier is the flexible half. Not vegan kitchens. But the bakes are good, so you are not settling. Ask about cross-contamination if that matters to you.

Wild & The Moon

Organic and plant-based throughout. Get the matcha cheesecake or the chocolate mousse. Sustainability-focused, and priced accordingly.

The Lime Tree Cafe

A Dubai staple. The vegan chocolate cake here has a genuine reputation, and the cookies and bars travel well.

Baker & Spice

Seasonal and locally sourced. Also a vegan lemon drizzle and fudgy brownies that beat the non-vegan versions.

Brambles — Barsha Heights

A cosy Barsha Heights cafe. Also a better vegan menu than it needs. Banana bread and almond cake are the picks.

Organic Foods and Cafe

More grocery than bakery. Still, the counter is a proper one: vegan carrot cake, chocolate cake, breads and pastries.

Bake My Day Dubai

Because this is Dutch baking, which you rarely get here. The vegan stroopwafels and apple pie are the reason to go.

Health-first — gluten-free and refined-sugar-free

The best vegan bakeries in Dubai for anyone juggling more than one dietary requirement. Where the vegan bit is one among several. Useful if you are working around more than one thing.

Healthy Patisserie

Vegan, gluten-free and sugar-free at once. That is rare. The avocado brownies sound wrong and taste right.

Coco Yogo

Raw vegan cheesecakes and coconut yogurt parfaits, all gluten-free and refined-sugar-free.

Delivery and celebration cakes

For when you need a cake delivered rather than a cafe to sit in.

SugarMoo Desserts

A Dubai delivery pioneer with a real vegan menu — the Oh My Vegan Goodness cake and the vegan brownies. Silly names, serious desserts.

Questions people ask

What are the best vegan bakeries in Dubai?
Just Vegan and Veganlife Bakery are the strongest fully plant-based kitchens. For a cafe you can sit in, Wild & The Moon and The Lime Tree Cafe are the two I send people to, and Angel Cakes is the call for a custom celebration cake.

Are there fully vegan bakeries in Dubai, or just vegan options?
Both. Just Vegan, Veganlife Bakery, So Free Organic, VEGO, Ninna, Sinless and Angel Cakes are entirely plant-based. The cafes in the second section are not vegan kitchens, so ask about shared equipment if that matters to you.

Where can I get a vegan birthday cake in Dubai?
Angel Cakes for custom celebration cakes, SugarMoo if you want it delivered, and Veganlife Bakery if you want chocolate and nothing else.

Are vegan bakes in Dubai also gluten-free?
Not automatically — vegan means no animal products, which is a separate thing from gluten. Healthy Patisserie and Coco Yogo are the two that reliably do both, and several others offer gluten-free lines alongside the vegan ones.
